YndigoBlue ("YndigoBlue", "we", "us", or "our") operates yndigoblue.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

By using the Site or purchasing a subscription, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for an account we collect your name, email address, and company name (optional). If you subscribe, we also collect your billing name, billing email address, and country.

Payment Information

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. YndigoBlue never receives, stores, or processes your raw card number, expiry date, or CVV. Stripe returns a secure token that we store to enable automatic annual renewals. You can review Stripe's privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.

Usage Data

We log page visits, including the page name, timestamp, and your user ID (if signed in). This data is used to understand how the Site is used and to improve our products and services. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.

NuGet Package Downloads

When you download NuGet packages through our private feed, we record the package name, version, and the user account that performed the download. This data is used for support and license compliance purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To process subscription payments and issue invoices.
To fulfill your subscription: granting access to NuGet packages, documentation, and downloads.
To send transactional emails: registration confirmation, password resets, invoices, subscription renewal notices, and team invitation emails.
To provide support when you contact us.
To monitor usage patterns and improve the Site and our products.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights:

Right to Know — you may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we share it with.
Right to Delete — you may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as retaining financial records as required by law).

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a period of seven years after account closure to satisfy legal and financial record-keeping requirements. Usage logs are retained for up to two years. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal obligations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

Stripe — to process payments (see Section 1).
Microsoft Azure — our hosting and email delivery infrastructure.
Legal authorities — where we are required to do so by applicable law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and hashed password storage. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but take all reasonable precautions to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

In addition to the California-specific rights above, you may:

Access and update your account information at any time via your Profile page.
Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
