GET /v1/aviation/airlines

Airlines, optionally limited to one country. These are the values the airlines and airlineCountries filters accept on a Flight field.

The entries above are an example. Call the endpoint for current values.

Property	Description
iataCode	The two-character IATA designator, used in flight numbers.
icaoCode	The three-letter ICAO designator.
name	The airline's name.
callsign	The airline's radio callsign. Omitted where it is unknown.
country	The country the airline is registered in. Omitted where it is unknown.
active	Whether the airline is still operating.

Without includeCeased, the list contains only the airlines a Flight field uses by default. With it, the list also contains the airlines a field with includeCeasedAirlines set can use.

An airline with no country is not matched by an airlineCountries filter.

Filtering with these values

The airline of an entry in the airlines filter is the IATA or ICAO designator. The country of an entry in the airlineCountries filter is the country code. Both are matched without regard to case.

Errors

400 with a ProblemDetails body when country is not two characters. A country with no airlines returns an empty array.

Requires an API key (see Authentication) but is not billed.
