GET /v1/address/countries

Countries that have addresses. These are the values a country filter accepts in an Address field's boundingLocation.

This list is different from GET /v1/location/countries, and usually shorter. A country in that list does not necessarily have addresses.

Request

No body, no query parameters.

curl https://api.alchemy.example/v1/address/countries -H "X-Api-Key: YOUR_API_KEY"

Response

An array of { code, name }, alphabetical by name. code is the value a country filter accepts.

[
  { "code": "us", "name": "United States" }

The entries above are an example. Call the endpoint for the current list.

Addresses within a country

A country in this list does not necessarily have addresses in every region. Use GET /v1/address/regions to list the regions within a country that have addresses, and the number of addresses in each.

Requires an API key (see Authentication) but is not billed.
